The delegations of teachers’ unions and employees from several departmental levels met with Harjot Singh Bains, the minister of education for Punjab, on Friday in Chandigarh. Bhagwant Mann, the chief minister of Punjab, prioritised the education department, according to Bains.
The minister declared that a potential solution would be developed soon after carefully considering the concerns of all the teachers and staff. The minister spoke with representatives of more than 5 dozens unions about a variety of issues, including school reforms, teacher eligibility tests, teacher transfers and appointments to remote locations, time allotted for instruction in schools, seniority, and recruitment to various positions that provide employment.
