Ankita Lokhande reflects on her emotions surrounding Sushant Singh Rajput’s death

In a poignant moment on Bigg Boss 17, Ankita Lokhande, while conversing with Munawar Faruqui, emotionally discussed her decision to refrain from attending Sushant Singh Rajput’s funeral, despite encouragement from Vicky Jain. She also alluded to understanding the circumstances that led to the young actor’s untimely demise.

During a conversation with Munawar, Ankita Lokhande requested him to cease reciting lines from heartbreak shayari, expressing, “Mat bol yeh saari cheezein, woh hit karti hain buri tareeke se (Don’t say all these things, they hit me badly).” Despite the emotional impact, she acknowledged liking Munawar’s sentiments. Ankita then proceeded to emotionally serenade the song “Kaun Tujhe Yun Pyaar Karega” from Sushant Singh Rajput’s film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, adding a poignant touch to her reflections on their past.

Munawar shared with Ankita his experience of attending a special screening of MS Dhoni at Yash Raj Studios, where he encountered Sushant for the first and last time. Reflecting on Sushant, Ankita expressed, “Bohot acha insaan tha woh. He was a good man. Main aise bolti hu na kabhi, tha, mujhe itna ajeeb lagta hai (Whenever I use the word ‘was’ for him, I feel so strange). Matlab abhi toh theek hai normal ho gaya hai, pehle bahut ajeeb lagta tha (I mean, now it’s okay, it’s normal, but it wasn’t earlier). Sushant was Vicky’s friend also, and when I realize that he is no more, that is the most worst feeling.” This poignant revelation shed light on the complexity of emotions associated with Sushant Singh Rajput’s memory.
