Rafah crossing from Gaza to Egypt reopens | Day 26

The Rafah crossing from Gaza to Egypt has been reopened, allowing foreign passport holders to exit amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict and humanitarian crisis.

This decision came as a result of an agreement brokered by Qatar, with the involvement of Egypt, Israel, and Hamas, along with coordination from the United States. Amid this conflict, an Israeli airstrike on the Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza led to significant casualties and the destruction of internet and communication services.

Israeli ground forces continued their operations in Gaza City, contributing to an escalating conflict that has tragically claimed thousands of lives. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected calls for a ceasefire, and the situation in the region remains highly tense and volatile.
