After comedian Chris Rock made fun of Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head at the Oscars in 2022, the Hollywood star apologised to him in public once more. The King Richard actor apologised profusely in a recent video, admitting that his behaviour was inappropriate and that “I made a mistake.”
Will responded when asked why he didn’t apologise to Chris in his acceptance speech. He said I was fogged out by that point. It’s all fuzzy. I’ve reached out to Chris and the message that came back is he’s not ready to talk, and when he is, he will reach out. So I will say to you, Chris, I apologize to you. My behavior was unacceptable. And I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk.”
