Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor & Shraddha Kapoor’s film set catches fire
To everyone’s amazement, today saw the set of the untitled movie starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor catch fire. The incident took place in Mumbai at the Chitrakoot studio in Andheri West, close to Link Road, as a set was being built to shoot a song for the movie. No filming was happening there, and Ranbir and Shraddha were supposed to pick up where they left off next week, according to insiders. No one has been hurt as of yet.
According to a report in Mumbai Live, a level 2 fire was detected at the Chitrakoot Ground close to Sadar Bazaar. The fire reportedly started in a 1,000 square foot space. Eleven fire engines and two water tanks were sent to the area, according to media reports, and efforts are being made to put out the fire. Fans are understandably upset after hearing that a fire broke out on Ranbir and Shraddha’s filming location.
The movie, which will be directed by Luv Ranjan, will be Ranbir and Shraddha’s first time working together. Boney Kapoor told the Bombay Times, “Everyone is well,” in response to the incident. God’s kindness has prevented any casualties, which is a blessing.
