Maharashtra CM Ekanth Shinde’s disapproval to Governor’s ‘Gujarati and Rajasthani’ statement

Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari praised the ‘Gujaratis’ and ‘Rajasthanis’ in Maharashtra.

In a video of Bhagat Singh’s speech, he mentioned that Gujaratis and Rajasthanis are important for the growth of business and stated that if Maharashtra, and specifically Mumbai and Thane removes them, there would be ‘no money’ left.

I keep telling people sometimes that if Gujaratis and Rajasthanis are removed from Maharashtra, especially Mumbai and Thane, no money would be left here. Mumbai, which is known as the financial capital of India, would not be able to remain the same,” says Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari.

The Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Ekanth Shinde stated that the Governor can his personal opinions but the party along with CM do not support his statements and respects Marathi people’s contribution to Mumbai.

“Governor has his own personal views but we won’t support his statements. Governor’s post is a constitutional post. He must speak under the ethics of the constitution. We will never forget Mumbaikar’s & Marathi people’s contribution to Mumbai,” stated Chief Minister of Maharashtra Ekanth Shinde.
