Kolkata witnesses a dip in COVID-19 Cases

From past few weeks the pandemic pressure of COVID-19 arising woke up the city of Kolkata but since past two days a dip has been witnessed in the number of cases.

The positive cases for the dangerous COVID-19 was seen dipping down across the state, as well as in the hospitals of Kolkata.

Reports suggest that 50% drop was witnessed since last week and the experts feel that there will more downfall which is a positive sign for the city of joy.

Some of the private hospitals witnessed almost 50% downfall in COVID cases and this dip has made progress in a positive way. Peerless Hospital witnessed a drop of 20% from 60% peak, as reported.

“We are now testing around 70 samples a day and the positivity rate is low. It had taken off sharply at the beginning of July and remained high till last week,” said Peerless Hospital CEO Sudipta Mitra. (TNN)

As reported RN Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences, dips from 22% peak to 11% and Naryana Hospital’s zonal head R Venkatesh stated that the testing on few patients is being carried on accordingly and there has been a decline which is definitely a positive sign.
