“Each week, one billion people message a business across our family of apps — whether it’s chatting with brands, browsing products, asking for support or interacting with stories. We want to help people start conversations with businesses they care about and help them find and buy products they love in an easy, seamless experience, right from the chat thread,” the company wrote in the blog post.

According to reports, Instagram adds that it will grant access to additional businesses when this function is further carried out, it is unclear how many firms will be permitted to use the tool. In the future, the ability to make payments in conversations will also be made available to more users.

Users will be able to message a business about any item they like and then submit further requests from the chat, according to Instagram. This will allow you to follow up on orders, ask inquiries, etc., with the company. Additionally, it appears that users will be forced to make transactions through Meta Pay, the business’s payment system. This indicates that initially, the feature might only be available in the US market.
