India’s ODI squad against Zimbabwe witness yet another series without the seniors, know the reason here…

India has made a strategic squad for the Zimbabwe tour, considering the upcoming competition which the blues have to face back to back. Team India and BCCI has officially announced the squad for the upcoming Zimbabwe tour. Another 50-over series will witness Shikhar Dhawan captaining the blues, along with a confirming comeback of Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, ans Washington Sundar.

Many of India’s first-choice players, such as regular captain Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravindra Jadeja, aren’t included in the squad because the tour of Zimbabwe finishes five days before the Asia Cup begins in the United Arab Emirates. Shikhar Dhawan will therefore take the captaincy once more.

SQUAD: Shikhar Dhawan (C), Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shubman Gill, Deepak Hooda, Rahul Tripathi, Ishan Kishan (wk), Sanju Samson (wk), Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Avesh Khan, Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj, Deepak Chahar.
