Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur on the other side feels that this pressure will be easy to handle as she feels that the side still remains balanced. India also enters the CWG fresh off a triumphant tour of Sri Lanka, where they took home victories in both the T20I series (2-1) and the ODI series (3-0). She added that her staff is focusing on developing a “killing attitude.”
“We still have a balanced side. We need to just shuffle our batting order and bowl intelligently. We can have a great competition. Right now, we are working on the killing attitude. Everyone’s talking about it and we are working on it. During the Sri Lanka tour, we had a team meeting, Pooja (Vastrakar) came up with this idea and said we have to play that way. It felt really nice to see players giving ideas.”
