Bengal witnessed yet another shameful act in a family as on Monday morning of July 24th in the area of Bhatpara, observed a mother’s murder over a quarrel with son.
The incident is too shocking as the 26-year-old son allegedly killed his own mother only because she refused to give him money for alcohol. To be precise, the incident took place at Kantapukur-Nayabazar area.
The Telegraph reported that neighbours saw Salma Biwi lying in a pool of blood in the courtyard of her home at around 8 am after hearing a shooting. Md Nisar, her son, was standing by her side, holding a gun.
When Nisar, her son, attempted to flee, locals caught him and gave him over to police, accusing him of killing his mother while intoxicated. Neighbors claimed to have overheard Nisar pleading with his mother for cash to buy alcohol.
Based on their initial investigation and the statements of the neighbours, the police detained Nisar and filed a murder case against him. Police also found a homemade gun that they believe was used in the crime.
