Manik Saha, the chief minister of Tripura, reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 earlier today.
A copy of the Chief Minister’s Twitter report was tweeted: “I’ve been tested Covid-19 positive today. I am absolutely fit & fine with no symptoms. I humbly request all those who’ve come in contact with me to take necessary precautions.”
Manik Saha was recently reported to have attented several events and parties in different parts of the country. Manik has adviced the ones who came in contact with him, to make necessary precautions and get themselves tested.
CM Manik opened an oxygen plant at IGM Hospital earlier in the day. There were also other senior authorities present.
He asked everyone to behave in a COVID-appropriate manner by using masks, keeping their distance, and using hand sanitizer.
From July 12, wearing a face mask in public places will be required by the Tripura government because to the increase in new cases of COVID-19.
