Former Karnataka Minister clear from all charges after being accused of a contractor’s suicide
BJP’s KS Eshwarappa, who is the former minister of Karnataka has stepped down from his dignified post after the “suicidal lawsuit” hit a huge blow on KS Eshwarappa’s political career. The controversial suicide of the contractor has been supposedly claimed “all clear” by the police of the respective state.
The contractor accused the former minister in his final messages of being “solely responsible” for his death, and he was mentioned in the police report about the suicide.
Santosh Patil committed suicide on April 12, and Mr. Eshwarappa, who was thought to be involved, was exonerated by authorities because of a “lack of proof,” according to the police. At the court of the Public Representatives, a report regarding the suicide has been submitted.
The BJP’s central leadership intervened to push the minister, who was also charged with corruption, to resign.
