WhatsApp May Get Quick Message Reactions In Next Update

Facebook-owned messaging platform WhatsApp is working on text reactions similar to the ones on Instagram and Twitter. Text reactions on WhatsApp may come as a section of Facebook’s efforts to enhance the features of the instant messaging app. WhatsApp tracker WABetaInfo found the quality, and no users or beta testers will be in a position to try out the part now. The document states that WhatsApp is currently testing the messages response feature internally.

WABetainfo has shared a snapshot of the feature that indicates a message which reads that the user is on an older version of WhatsApp that does now not support reactions. The screenshot shared by WABetaInfo is from today’s WhatsApp beta for Android build.

The message reactions will be available on both Android and iOS apps and the internet and desktop users. This will be much similar to the message reactions on systems like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger. Users can react with an emoji instead of replying to the message.

WhatsApp is currently attempting on bringing multi-device compatibility to the platform, the place users will be able to get entry to WhatsApp on multiple platforms besides requiring their mobile phone to log in every time.

WhatsApp recently introduced a public beta for its computing device client, allowing Windows and macOS users to sign up in the public beta to try out all the new features coming to the WhatsApp laptop app.

In the last update, WhatsApp introduced the disappearing media shares. After the receiver opens the image for the first time, “view once” deletes it, without saving it to a phone. WhatsApp said the feature was aimed at “giving users, even more, control over their privacy”.
