“We have already incinerated 82,000 kg of drugs,” claims Union Minister Amit Shah
Union Minister Amit Shah revealed and virtually witnessed that 30,000 kg of drugs were incinerated in four different locations across India.
Amit Shah was at a meeting in Chandigarh where he virtually witnessed the burning of the medicines that had been confiscated in Delhi, Chennai, Guwahati, and Kolkata.
Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s invitation to observe “Azadi Amrit Mahotsav,” the home minister claimed that a commitment had been made to get rid of roughly 75,000 kg of narcotics.
“Glad to share that till today, we have already incinerated 82,000 kg of drugs and will reach the 1 lakh kg mark by August 15,” he said.
