Tamil movie industry is soon going to release another “highly awaited” movie – Dejavu on July 22. Surprisingly the movie is being directed by debutant Arvindh Srinivasan. It is supposedly a “drama” category film.
Director Arvindh in an interview with media stated that the script of Dejavu was prepared and finalised long back in 2015 but it took him almost 4 years to re-write after his closed ones hinted the previous script as an easy guess of the next scene but the debutant wanted his scenes to be unpredictable and surprising enough for the audience.

The director claimed that the movie’s producer had already agreed to create it before hearing the climax and that senior performers like Madhoo and Achyuth Kumar had confidence in him. In the interview, Arvindh Srinivasan said that after Arulnithi agreed to be in the movie, he felt more responsible. He allegedly changed and improvised the movie up till the last take as it was being shot.
According to reports, the filmmaker claimed that he had initially intended to produce the movie simultaneously in several languages, but that because to pandemic-related restrictions, he was only able to complete the Telugu and Tamil versions with Arulnithi. He reportedly claimed that earlier the producers were in talks with Vivek Oberoi and Jackie Shroff for the movie and that the Hindi adaptation will also be produced shortly. He disclosed that after “Dejavu” is released in Tamil, plans will be made for the Hindi adaptation.
