Samsung Galaxy A5 may be launched soon, certified by FCC
The 2018 edition of Samsung Galaxy A5 has been pointed out on the official FCC‘s (Federal Communications Commission) website.
The device will come with an e-label as checked mandatory for the FCC disclaimers. It has already been cleared in the United States, says a report by MobileXpose.
As per the listing, the report claims that a device with the same model number was recently certified by the National Radio Research Institute (NRRI).

As per a previous leak, this new device Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) features a 5.5-inch full HD+ display with 18.5:9 ratio, exactly similar to the company’s flagship device, the Galaxy Note 8. It is expected to run on Samsung’s own Exynos 7885 chipset, with 4GB RAM and 32GB of expandable space.
Another leaked render of Galaxy A5 reveals a dual front camera setup and the handset is rumored to have a 16MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. The smartphone will also support a rear fingerprint sensor placed below the camera, similar to Galaxy Note 8. Additionally, the handset would be dust and water resistant with IP68 certification.
Recently, Samsung has announced a price reduction on its Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) handsets in India. It is so far speculated that the price cut is an indication that the company is preparing to launch the next gen. models of Galaxy A series.
