“Reliance Jio leads in Download speeds, while Idea cellular leads in uploading speeds “- said TRAI

Reliance Jio leads in the download speed once again. While the list of fastest uploads speed is lead by Idea cellular network.
As per Telecom regulatory authority of India’s(TRAI) app,’My Speed portal’ Jio 4g is the fastest telecom network in terms of download speed followed by y Vodafone, Idea, and Airtel, with the recorded average 4G speed up marginally from last month.
Specifically talking about the speeds, “My Speed app” reported the downloading speed of Jio 4G to be 18.433Mbps, followed by Vodafone at 8.999Mbps, Idea at 8.746Mbps, and Airtel at 8.550Mbps in September 2017.
Earlier, the speed of Jio 4G networks were recorded even better, In August, Jio 4G network recorded the peak download speed of 18.831 Mbps. The second place was occupied by Vodafone with the download speed of 9.325 Mbps.And the third place was given to Airtel with a peak download speed of 9.2666 Mbps.
As far as the Uploading speed goes , TRAI’s My speed app recorded Idea cellular uploading files the quickest with a peak uploading speed of  6.307Mbps, Vodafone comes second at 5.776Mbps, Jio is third at 4.134Mbps, and Airtel is fourth at 4.088Mbps.
Last month also, the results were no different with Idea at the top of the list with 6.292 Mbps. Vodafone was behind it with the uploading speed of 5.782 Mbps  followed by Jio and Airtel at 4.225Mbps and 4.123Mbps, respectively.
In spite of being the biggest 4G network in India, The average speeds of Reliance 4g was found to be less than that of Airtel.
TRAI is planning to make its evaluation methods more transparent. The body is consulting with the operators. And soon we will get a strong and updated version of the app from their side which will calculate the speeds quickly and effectively.
