New state presidents for Delhi, Odisha, Rajasthan and Bihar

After breaking ties with JD(U), the bjp is trying to win over the OBC’s,  MBCs and Dalit community in the state to get foothold.

On Thursday,  Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced new state presidents for Delhi, Odisha, Rajasthan and Bihar.

While CP Joshi replaces Satish poonia in Rajasthan that will go to polls later in delhi virendra sachdeva will head the state team.

Former Minister in the Odisha Government, Manmohan samal will be the new state unit president in Odisha where bjp is looking to increase the footprint. While in bihar,Sanjay jaiswal has been replaced by Samrath Choudhary.

In Rajasthan there were reports of friction between leaders in the state team and the central leadership was petitioned to replace ponia a jat leader and an RSS man. According to a party functionery there were differences between ponia and former cheif minister Vasundhara raje.

With the appointment of Choudhary a kurmi leader the party is aiming to maximize its outreach among the OBC’s community in Bihar.
