Ericsson flags risk of losing the 5G market share in China , details
Ericsson stated on Monday that the company might get lower share in China’s 5G roll-out than its share of the recent telecom infrastructure market there. One of the reasons that there is being a spat over exclusion of Chinese vendors from the Sweden’s overturn of fast networks.
The warning was inclusive in an updated prospectus for the people investing related to Ericsson’s issue of 500 million euro unsecured 8-year bond.

Ericsson also claimed that it had been invited to many current tender processes in China, the conclusion, i.e the final outcome still remains unsure.
The company in a statement said that It is the organization’s recent assessment that the risk has multiplied that Ericsson will in those tenders be allocated a much lower market share than its recent market share .
The Swedish government in the last October banned Huawei from supplying 5G equipment due to many security concerns. Huawei sued to turn ovet the decision that was made and a conclusion is expected in the coming weeks, that is currently impacting the Ericsson’s market share in China.
