“Delete your messages from others Chat”- Whatsapp says
Whatsapp now will allow you to delete a message from yours as well as your friend’s phone. The Facebook owned company has planned to launch this feature very soon.
The messages sent in a group or a personal chat could now be easily deleted within 7 minutes of its delivery. The only problem with this feature is that both sender and receiver should have the updated version of the Application.
Whatsapp recently revealed that this feature will be available across all platforms — iOS, Android, Windows Phone and desktop.
Although, you can find this feature on Skype and Telegram, Whatsapp is using its hand on the” Delete from all” for the very first time. On other applications, the delete for all lets users delete the message from the recipient’s and their own phones too, replacing the deleted message with a text that says “This message was deleted” on the recipient’s phone.
All you need to do to use this brand new feature, once you update your Whatsapp-You just need to tap and hold on to the message you want to delete. There will appear an option which will ask you to either delete the message for you or Delete the message for everyone. Select the suitable option and the message will be deleted.
You have to remember that the delete for all option does only appear for 7 minutes after you send the message.
