BlackBerry Launches DTEK50 Smartphone in US
BlackBerry claims to have introduced ‘the world’s most secure Android smartphone’ – the DTEK50. Although the phone lacks Blackberry’s signature physical keyboard, it uses a touchscreen keyboard. The shipping is expected to begin around August 8, 2016.
According to the management of the Company, DTEK50 is ‘the most secured’ device in the market. “When it comes to security, BlackBerry Android phones are leading all other Android smartphones. We’ve packed all of the security and privacy features from our first 100% Android device, PRIV, into the new, affordable-yet-powerful DTEK50,” said the Company official.
DTEK50 comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, giving full access to Google Play, home screen widgets, Google Now™, and the ability to easily connect to the things one uses every day like TV, car and other connected systems in a house.
The company has priced the smartphone at $299. This 5.2” Scratch-resistant Screen, 13MP auto focus camera, and a reasonable pricing phone is definitely a worthy device.
