Apple patent reveals a unique MacBook Pro with five displays

In the latest development, it has been revealed from Apple’s new patent that the iPhone maker is working on a MacBook Pro with 5 displays. According to a report by GizmoChina, China’s National Intellectual Property Office approved the patent on June 30. This technology has been labeled by the tech giant as “Dynamic Display Interface” that shows the four smaller displays along with the main display.

It may be mentioned here that the current MacBook Pro has 1 main display and a Touch Bar. However, it seems that Apple wants to probably add 3 more screens. As per the illustrations of the patent, these displays then take up roles similar to how Apple tries to use the Touch Bar on its MacBooks. It has been mentioned in the patent that the laptop’s base part consists of a light-transmitting cover and keyboard.

Meanwhile, the Cupertino-based giant is likely to launch a 12.9-inch iPad Pro and multiple notebook models with Mini-LED backlit displays by the end of 2020, according to the latest inputs. Sources said Apple is also considering using a ceramic material for the 5G antenna board in its forthcoming MacBook, to improve the cellular reception and transmission speed dramatically.
