The techARC report has revised the total estimated sales for the year at 128 million units, against the previous estimates of 127 million (June 2020).

During the Q4, Samsung and Realme are likely to be the top gainers, and Micromax could climb up the sales chart with its comeback.

Sales in the price segment Rs 15,000-25,000 are likely to gain pace, while the premium smartphone segment is also anticipated to gain some traction as well.

Thanks to festive offers & lucrative discounts, and left-over inventories of smartphones, discounts could go up as high as 55-60%, as per the report’s findings.
