Revealing the date on Twitter, the tech giant Google has finally confirmed Pixel 4a will be made available in India via Flipkart on October 17.
“The Pixel 4a will release in India on October 17 and will be available for purchase on Flipkart,” the company said in response to a user on Twitter.

On Wednesday, the company launched the Pixel 5 alongside the Pixel 4a 5G that is a 5G version of Pixel 4a.
The Pixel 4a’s entry to India was confirmed in August when the phone was launched worldwide for $349.
However, the price details of the device for the Indian market is yet to be disclosed.

Apart from a Pixel’s signature colour pop power button in mint, the smartphone has a matte finish. The company is reportedly keeping the same camera module it used in Pixel 3, 3A, and Pixel 4 i.e. Sony’s 12MP IMX363.
“We remain committed to our current Pixel phones and look forward to bringing future Pixel devices to India,” a Google spokesperson had said.
