Google finally announced the launch of its much awaited Smartphone that would work without a Sim Card

Google’s newest Smartphone the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have an advance feature that allow you to make a call or surf internet without any sim card. The phone will have an e-sim installed in it. It is just like a wifi connection which is easy to access and does not require any special equipment to operate. This technology was only used for Tablets, smart watches and other cellular wearable’s earlier. This means you no longer need to go to a store to get a SIM card for wireless service, wait a few days for your card to arrive in the mail, or fumble around with a bent paper clip to coax your SIM card into a tiny slot,” writes Joy Xi, a product manager for Project Fi, in Google’s official blog post on the subject. He further added that that the users would have to link themselves with the Fi- network once they purchase the Smartphone through either Google play store or through Fi itself. If you are already a subscriber then you just have to change the mobile setup to e-sim mode and Google will take care of heavy lifting.
It’s definitely problematic to switch sim cards for professional and non-professional work. So it would very helpful to work without a small chip. The identity of the user will be inbuilt that would allow easy accessibility to the users.
Joy Xi writes that they are looking forward to work on this project with other giant Smartphone builder industries and to make it even better. The future would be better with e-sim. It would a perfect replacement for the sim cards.
