“Incident is saddening,” claims Jharkhand Congress Chief Rajesh Thakur after 3 MLAs were nabbed by Police with huge amount of cash

Theee MLAs of Jharkhand were nabbed by the police of West Bengal, and their car was found with huge amounts of cash. Due to intelligence regarding a cash load hidden inside the vehicle, it was stopped at the Panchla-Ranihati crossing, but authorities were initially unaware of the passengers. Later the police confirmed that the MLAs were from the Congress party and were of Jharkhand, namely Irfan Ansari, MLA from Jamtara, Rajesh Kachhap, MLA from Khijri & Naman Bixal, MLA from Kolebira.

Jharkhand Congress Chief Rajesh Thakur expressed his thoughts on the incident and stated that it is ‘saddening’ to hear such case of MLAs being caught with huge amount of cash, but no decision shall be made until the ‘probe is done’

“It won’t be reasonable to talk about it till probe is done, but looking at country’s situation… nabbed MLAs can better explain the matter. However, incident is saddening. We’ll submit a report to our high command; no one involved to be spared,” said Jharkhand Congress Chief Rajesh Thakur.
