The growth of Chinese product in the market has increased the competition in the market. Even the giant companies like Samsung and Apple have to bear a loss due to the excessive demands of smart phones manufactured in China. One such name of the company which dominated the list is of Xiaomi.
The present scenario of smart phones in the market reveals that Samsung is no more the best Seller in India .Xiaomi has taken its place.” There are almost 10 millions of smart phones shipped in India in the month of October”, said Lei Jun, the CEO of Xiaomi on Monday.
Over 10 million of smart phones were shipped in the month of September as well by the company, informed CEO through a statement. The company has not yet revealed the data related to the Smartphone sales in the October month. But it seems as if the company has done wonders in its home country along with India.
Many people believe that the strategy of Xiaomi to expand its offline presence through its Mi stores got successful. The company was mostly benefited between September 20 and October 19 where it offered Smartphone’s at very affordable rates. The Sale and Demand of Xiaomi’s product increased a lot during this period. According to the India’s Managing director of Xiaomi, around 4 million orders were placed this Diwali.
The company was announced as the fastest growing Smartphone Company in India. Xiaomi witnessed an annual growth of 292 percent in the third quarter of 2017 in India. Redmi Note 4 was ranked as no.1 selling Smartphone in the country.
Tarun Pathak of counter point research said on Monday that” “Xiaomi continues to post back-to-back record quarters in India and create new benchmarks. Three out of the top five bestselling smart phones in India were from Xiaomi alone”.
