After showcasing at the MWC 2018, Vivo has launched its futuristic Nex phone in in the capital. Priced Rs. 44,990, Vivo NEX is a phone with no bezels, no notch and a pop-out (elevating) selfie camera. It brings the future today!

Priced at INR 44,990/-, Vivo NEX will be available for Indian consumers from 21st July 2018.

Vivo NEX has a screen-to-body ratio of impressive 91.24%, besides it carries forward the in-display fingerprint scanner from the X21.

Commenting on the launch, Kent Cheng, CEO, Vivi India said, “Vivo has always believed in exploring the unknown, undertaking new challenges and providing our consumers with smart phones that push the boundaries of both technology and user experience. We are optimistic about NEX’s capability to change the way the world perceives smartphone design, performance and ergonomics.”
As it is estimated that during the first six months alone, any smart phone camera gets 70,000+ scratches, which affects the quality of photographs/ selfies. The Vivo NEX phone uses a popup camera which we can say is a camera cover.

The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 system-on-chip, and has 8GB of RAM coupled with 128GB of storage. It supports Android 8.1 with 4000mAh battery. It has a 8MP and 12MP + 5MP front and rear camera respectively. It weighs less than 200 gms.

Last month, Vivo has announced it in China in two variants: a standard NEX A and a high-end NEX S. But, in India, Vivo is bringing high-end NEX S. The NEX A (powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710) is not been introduced in India.
