United States and Japan to launch a new joint international semiconductor research hub

Two great nations United States and Japan have made a pact to jointly launch a new international semiconductor research hub, as confirmed by Japanese Trade Minister Hagiuda Koichi (as he stated during a press conference in Washington).

In order to establish a reliable source of the crucial components, the nations decided to collaborate on research for next-generation semiconductors during U.S. and Japanese economic talks.

In-depth conversation took place on Friday “about how Japan and the United States could collaborate, especially with respect to advanced semiconductors,” as stated by Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo
