Superstar Shah Rukh Khan cast a spell over sportsmen and spectators at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday during the IPL 2023 match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Following KKR’s impressive victory over the RCB, co-owner SRK entered the stadium and met with all of the players. He also spoke with former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli. Several photos and videos from Thursday’s match went viral. SRK is seen getting delighted after spotting Virat Kohli in one of the clips. He walked over to him and hugged him tightly.
SRK also convinced Kohli to try the viral steps from the Jhoome Jo Pathaan song from his blockbuster Pathaan.
SRK and Kohli’s brief meeting left fans excited. Reacting to the duo’s images and videos, a social media user commented, “This made my day.” “King of Bollywood meeting King of Cricket,” another one wrote.
Shah came to the venue with his daughter Suhana Khan and Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapooir. The team’s co-owner and actor Juhi Chawla also cheered the boys in purple and gold on during their big win over the RCB.
Juhi shared her joy at winning to ANI. “I’m quite pleased with how our team performed. I really hope and pray that this is how all of our matches end. Eden Gardens had every seat taken. “Let’s get to the finals this year, and let’s win,” she continued.
KKR’s innings concluded in 20 overs at 204/7, with Umesh Yadav (6*) and Sunil Narine (0*) unbroken. The RCB’s death bowling proved a major factor, as the team conceded 57 runs in the final four overs. The RCB did not pursue the target. RCB were sold for 123.
