Deshna Nahar, a seven-year-old from Pune, entered the Guinness Book of Records for skating under 20 cars simultaneously in the quickest time. She also broke the record set by a Chinese youngster of 14 years. A Chinese girl aged 14 set the record in 2015 by covering the same distance in 14:15 seconds.
According to local media of Pune, Aditya Nahar, Deshna’s father said, “Deshna discovered her love for skating. She’s been learning to skate for the past two years, and over the past six months, she’s been getting ready for this record in limbo skating. Her coach supported her a lot during the entire time. He encouraged her to do better.”
“For the past month, she has been practising for this record in her courses at Katraj Kondhwa Road. To train for the record, there was no space available. Although we found some spaces in malls, the authorities did not allow us to use them as a practice ground,” he continued.
