Windows Phone will no longer be in focus for Microsoft

Windows phones will no longer be provided with new features or an improved version announced Joe Belfiore, Corporate Vice President in the Operating Systems Group at Microsoft in a series of tweets.
The company will definitely look after the existing users by constantly providing them with the security updates and bug fixes. But building new features/hardware is not the focus anymore for them said the vice president.
There are still many devices available in the market that uses Windows OS. Some of them are HP Elite x3, Microsoft Lumia 950 XL, Microsoft Lumia 950 and Nokia Lumia 930.
According to reports, the usability of windows smart phones in the market is decreasing day by day. There are only 1.3 percent of windows phone left as compared to last year’s 2.4% in United States of America.
Reports also confirmed that Satya Nadela, the CEO of Microsoft has announced that the company will be making new phones but not like the existing ones. . Microsoft is ready to roll out the “fall creators “update for the window 10 users on October 7. This will include the virtual reality and mixed reality support sans the mobile experience.
Joe Belfiore and the company are all set to deal with the new smart phones with very different features than the existing Windows 10 Smartphone’s. It would be interesting to see how far they are able to attract customers in the market through this change.
