It’s now ready to receive the much-anticipated video call function in the group. Yahoo Finance has revealed that the Telegram CEO Pavel Durov announces support for Community video calls next month for the iOS version of the application. The business initially intended last year to develop the feature. According to the article, Durov announced it using a text message that he posted on his official Telegram channel. He wrote, “we will be adding a video dimension to our voice chats in May, making Telegram a powerful platform for group video calls. Screen sharing, encryption, noise-canceling, desktop and tablet support — everything you can expect from a modern video conferencing tool, but with Telegram-level UI, speed, and encryption. Stay tuned!”
In one-on-one video calls already, Telegram provides end-to-end encryption. Recently, Telegram has been informed that two new mobile applications will be introduced. The firm would shortly unleash two mobile apps—Telegram WebK and Telegram WebZ, according to a post from DroidMaze.
Apps such as chat directories, ads help, search and other new options are included in the applications. However, some essential functions are lacking for regions that are into lockdown due to the COVID-19 virus: video and voice calls.
