OnePlus and Servify team up for after-sales service

Chinese handset player OnePlus has partnered with Mumbai-based startup Servify to offer customer care service to OnePlus users. The Chinese company has launched a mobile app, OnePlus Care,to enable customers to self-diagnose their smartphones and avail free pickup-drop service from their home or office, in case of a need to repair their devices.
However, this service is limited to only OnePlus 3 smartphones, and not the older ones. The free pickup-drop service, at present, is available across Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, New Delhi and Mumbai.
“Customer experience is a key focus area and we are proud to offer the OnePlus Care app. We are bringing differentiated superior support structure to our users to elevate their after-sales smartphone experience,” said Vikas Agarwal, General Manager at OnePlus India.
The partnership also brings one more offering to OnePlus customers. Servify is offering a 12-months complementary ‘Accidental Damage Protection Plan’ for all customers buying OnePlus 3 devices. Anyone buying the new device in India from Amazon.in can register for this plan within thirty days of purchase by downloading the app and registering the purchase details on the app.
“While devices are getting smarter, the post-sales experience also needs to get smarter. Our mission is to redefine the device ownership experience for Indian consumers. That is the genesis behind Servify, the personal device assistance platform. This association is expected to OnePlus customers secure ownership data safe, get proactive service alerts and help them choose the most convenient service mode.
