Fixes to come soon as OnePlus 9 pro users report overheating issues while using Camera App

Overheating problems have been reported by OnePlus 9 Pro users. The phone is said to heat up frequently, especially when using the camera app. Several users have expressed their frustration with the situation on the OnePlus discussion site.

The Verge contacted OnePlus about the problem with the OnePlus 9 Pro, and the company also admitted the problem. They said they were aware of the problem and were working on a solution. In the next few weeks, the company plans to release a software update with the patch.

As previously mentioned, users have taken to the forums to report overheating problems with the OnePlus 9 Pro. Users say that the overheating alert appears even though they use the camera app infrequently. OnePlus 9 Pro customer, for example, was attempting to take a photo in direct sunlight when his phone began to display the overheating alarm. The temperature outside was recorded to be 21 degrees.

OnePlus 9 Pro overheated during a 4K120fps recording in a 22-degree temperature room, according to some users. However, as with the OnePlus 8 Pro, the majority of the overheating issues have been recorded in direct sunlight. Users of the OnePlus 9 Pro will report the problem on the forum to escalate it further before the patch arrives.

The  OnePlus 9 Pro, as well as the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9R, were released in India, last month. The 8GB + 128GB storage version of the OnePlus 9 Pro costs Rs. 64,999, while the 12GB + 256GB storage model costs Rs. 69,999.
