BSNL ties up with Fiber Home for better manufacturing

The State-owned Telecom Co. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Fiber Home to start manufacturing telecom optical fiber cable in the BSNL factories.
Fiber Home India too wants to foot deep inside the Indian market. As per an official statement, it has decided to invest heavily in India with the partnership of BSNL, still the companies did not divulge the quantum of investment.
“This agreement will help India to get high quality telecom equipment at a reasonable cost and will also reduce deployment time,” said Anupam Srivastava, CMD (Commanding and Managing Director) of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited.
So far BSNL has tried hard to fulfill government demands and dreams by adopting workable and practical programs like collaboration with Extramarks to boost the Digital India Campaign and lead a better digital education environment.
Fiber Home has a globally renowned company. Being the parent chain of the MNC’s, this company holds under one of the largest telecom manufacturing firms in China. The equipment regarding transport layer and access layer of telecom network are mainly manufactured by this global firm.
Coming to the BSNL workforce, it has got seven telecom factories with a large manpower of more than 1600 employees, who manufacture several customer and equipment and testing tools for the internal usage and consumption of BSNL.
