Airtel offers Xstream Box at a refundable security deposit of Rs 1,500 to its broadband users

At a refundable security deposit of Rs. 1500, Bharti Airtel has announced to offer the Xstream Box to its broadband customers. This development comes just a few months after the company provided its Android-based set-top box (STB) under a complimentary offer to One Airtel plan subscribers

Moreover, the regular Airtel Thanks app customers will also be provided with the Xstream Box at a discounted price of Rs. 2,249. The latest promotional offers would help the telecom operator expand the user base of its Xstream Box that offers features like built-in Chromecast and Google Assistant support.

Sources said Airtel Xstream Fiber broadband users are getting a notification about the Xstream Box to offer through the Airtel Thanks app which means you will be able to get the smart STB not just at a discounted price but can also get its complete refund on return. It is worth noting that customers who would avail of the new offer have to pay Rs. 1,951 that will include the refundable security deposit and one month’s rental for about 129 channels.

Notably, Bharti Airtel is competing against Reliance’s Jio Fiber Set-Top Box. ACT Fibernet’s ACT Stream TV 4K in this particular segment. As per the company’s claims, its offering will provide more than 500 TV channels in 4K resolution and movies and web shows across 13 languages.
