The CEO of Vodafone, Egypt, Stefano Gastaut, took charge as the new global Director of Vodafone’s Internet of Things (IoT) business unit. The change in role took place along with the new calendar year, January 2018.
Gastaut has a good track record, in his two years at Vodafone Egypt, he improved customer experience in both the consumer and enterprise sectors. Also, he successfully launched 4G and strengthened the company’s leadership position by growing revenues and improving market share from 40% to 45%.
Stefano Gastaut, new Vodafone Global IoT Director added, “I am looking forward to joining this successful and dynamic team and building on the foundations created by Erik Brenneis.
