Lenovo unveils foldable Cplus phone & Folio tablet

At the Lenovo Tech World in San Francisco, the company expanded their portfolio with two new innovative devices, the Cplus smartphone and the Folio tablet.
The highlight of these prototype devices is the foldable display. The Cplus smartphone can wrapped around the wrist, while the Folio tablet can be folded in half.
According to the senior vice president and chief technology officer Peter Hortensius, the internal parts of the devices are designed to bend along with the display.
The Cplus phone will come with a 4.26 inch foldable display and will also have a larger variant. It will run on Android and will ship in 12 different colors.

The Folio tablet on the other hand can be folded in half, allowing users to use it as a smartphone or a phablet. The company will be launching these devices later this year.
South Korean giant, Samsung is also working on foldable display technology and will unveil their products by early 2017. The company will be launching two devices and will be using OLED displays.
Lenovo also showcased its Smart Shoes concept, that will help tracking fitness data for the users and will also allow them to play motion sensing games.
The Smart Shoes sporting LED lights allows users to receive customised news and information based on their activity data sent to their smartphone.
