The ODI series was whitewashed successfully without any senior leaders, who have now come back to conquer the reign in the shortest format of the league. With Rohit Sharma taking up his duty once again and all the players set to continue what Dhawan-led young team created a ‘milestone’, it will be exciting to watch how does the T20 opening game goes on.
India might start with Rishabh Pant with skipper Rohit Sharma. The big question comes of who to play at down 1 at Kohli’s absence and as we have witnessed, Deepak Hooda has been a star performer in that position and Suryakumar Yadav can somehow adjust his came coming at down 2. Shreyas Iyer has slight chances of playing tonight. Hardik Pandya and Dinesh Karthik have been stretched long for their exciting season since comeback followed by India’s new treasure Harshal Patel. Axar Patel’s terrific performance in the ODIs might lock his place tonight. It will be exciting to watch Kuldeep Yadav back into blues after a very long time. With Bumrah not being in the squad, Arshdeep Singh has a good chance to hold the bowling responsibilities with Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
