After the launch of Honor 5C in China in April, the device will be introduced in the Indian market by June end.
Specification wise, the device packs a 5.2-inch full-HD IPS LCD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by Company’s own HiSilicon Kirin 650 octa-core processor (clocked at 4x Cortex A53 at 1.7GHz + 4x Cortex A53 at 2GHz).
With 2GB of RAM it has LTE CAT 6 support allowing download speeds of up to 300Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps.
Camera sensor on this device includes a 13MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. On the front there is an 8MP front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture lens. Honor 5C come with 16GB of storage which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB).
On the connectivity front, the Honor 5C offers GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. It is juiced by a 3000mAh battery.
It also houses a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. It measures 147.1×73.8×8.3mm and weighs 156 grams. The Honor 5C runs Emotion UI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
In January the company launched its Honor 5X for the Indian market at a price of Rs 12,999.
It comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display; 1.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor; 13MP rear and 5MP front camera; 3000mAhbattery.
