Commonwealth Games: Indian Women has never played at Edgbaston but skipper Harmanpreet Kaur does not consider it a drawback

All of the games will take place at Edgbaston in Birmingham, a location Indian Women has never visited. However, Harmanpreet does not consider that to be a drawback.

“We went to the stadium yesterday. We weren’t able to look at the pitch but we got some time in the nets. I think the net wickets are quite similar. They were very nice batting tracks. You always get some help for the bowlers also because of the weather and the grass on the wicket. I think it’ll be great for both batters and bowlers. When we got to bat in the nets, we didn’t face much difficulty. That’s a positive for us,” says skipper Harmanpreet Kumar

“We haven’t played here. Most wickets are similar here in England.
