Chetan Sakariya and Mukesh Choudhary will compete in the T20 Max series in Australia.
Sakariya will play for Sunshine Coast in the T20 league, whereas Choudhary will represent Wynnum-Manly. As part of an exchange initiative between the MRF Pace Foundation and Cricket Australia, the pair will participate in the competition as well as practise at the Bupa National Cricket Centre and collaborate with the Queensland Bulls setup during preseason.
“Player and coaching exchanges between the MRF Pace Foundation and Cricket Australia have been in place for almost 20 years, with the two Indian players marking the resumption of the relationship that was paused due to Covid,” Cricket Australia said.
Sakariya has participated in one ODI and two T20Is for India while playing for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. While waiting to play for his nation, Mukesh made an impression with Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2022, grabbing 16 wickets in 13 games.
