New features and improvements will be added to Android wear power smart watches an executive of Google informed. Google has found a way out to deliver the Android wear 2.0 features through Google play store.
At present you have to download a firmware update delivered by OEMS if you want to get updates and information from the company. But with Android Wear 2.0, the company will be able to publish “more timely improvements between OTAs” said Hoi Lam, one of the executive of Google.
This feature was used by the company last week only, when it rolled out a range of improvements to Android Wear. Third party chats app in contact will now be supported by these apps. In addition to it, the company also ensures the easy discoverability of play store for its new users. The accidental entry into the watch face picker will also be reduced through these updates.
There are hardly any improvements from Google’s side in android wear. They look into it only when the analyst wonders whether the company is serious about its smart watch project anymore. Last week’s event of Google doesn’t any important announcements related to Android wear.
Apple on the other hand is continuously placing efforts to make Apple watch the best one on planet. In spite of getting a big head start on smart watches devices, Google is lagging behind Apple in the field of developing more and better features in the smart watches.
