One Mega Event i.e. 4th Smart Cities India 2018 expo, co-organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), NASSCOM Centre of Excellence – IoT and Exhibitions India Group was inaugurated successfully by Shri. CR Chaudhary, Union Minister for Commerce and Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Shri. Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Union Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare.
The inauguration was also graced by His Excellency, Mr. Daniel Carmon, Ambassador of Israel. In his address he emphasised on the need of collaboration between nations to build sustainable cities of the future.
The 3-day expo witnessed 300+ exhibitors from India and abroad showcasing innovative products and solutions for smart cities. The event offers five diverse expos with the view to develop attractive, safe and smart cities. These include: Smart Cities India expo, Buildings India expo, Solar India expo, Transport India expo, and Water India expo.
Shri. L.C Goyal, Chairman and MD, ITPO informed the gathering Smart Cities India expo, “Three state-of-the-art exhibition halls in Pragati Maidan will be ready by February 2019.”
The event will see the participation of Indian and international industry experts, along with leaders from the city, government and community, who will share their views and proposals to make cities more sustainable, efficient, and transparent.
“While collaboration is the key to smart sustainable cities of the future, the potential of new age technologies to tackle social, economic and environmental challenges is vast,” said Mr. Prem Behl, Chairman, Exhibitions India Group at the inauguration of the 4th Smart Cities India 2018 expo.
